Strata building projects

Fact: As of March 31, 2023, there were 32,344 filed strata plans and 690,980 active strata lots—source: Land Title and Survey Authority of BC.

According to the adopted EV implementation strategy, by 2035, there will be over 1.3 million electric vehicles on BC roads. The implementation mandates are outlined in Canada’s Electric Vehicle Availability Standard (regulated targets for zero-emission vehicles)

EV Ready plans are incentivized by BC Hydro, and the cost for the Strata to the maximum of 75% ($3,000). EV-ready plan helps your Strata to increase the property value. Having the EV-ready plan and EV infrastructure makes your building and common property more desirable on the market and improves the market value of the individual units.
Installation and management of EV chargers is based on Strata-specific requests. The minimum number of EV chargers with the management option is 4 per building.

The bathroom fan's importance is in preventing the buildup of mould and mildew, extracting the humidity and odours, and exchanging the air in bathrooms with no windows or natural ventilation. Over the years, the dust buildup on the flaps prevents your fan from extracting the air from the washroom. In some cases, the fan motor is seized because of the age, dust and other conditions (hairspray, airborne components). Older fan models are, in most cases, noisy and non efficient.
Our solution: Fan replacement with Panasonic Whisper line. The air flow is selectable, from 50 to 110 CFM (cubic feet per minute), and the noise level is 0.3 sones. Replacement of the bathroom fan includes: decommissioning of the existing fan, housing, electrical connection and installation of the new fan, cleanup and disposal/recycling of old units. Time needed for one unit is between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on complexity. This service is tailored for multiple units in the building; the minimum project size is 50 fans per building.

Re-Charge Electrical Solutions is providing the installation and management of common area EV chargers. The management platform provides the load sharing, payment processing and monthly reports to Strata corporation. The connection to the platform is WiFi-based and payment is done by cloud wallet.
